This Mentorship Circle is for community leaders and space holders of all kinds and is by invitation only, and I will offer it again in 2024 or 2025.

I actively center Trans and Queer people, and everything we do here is dedicated to our mutual wholeness and collective liberation.

I am open to 6-8 participants. Priority will be given to those with whom I am already in community, and to those who have worked with me before (in the WHOLE SEX groups or beyond).

WHY A MENTORSHIP CIRCLE, NOT A TRAINING?

Many people have asked me about some form of mentorship over the years, and I have been listening for what the right-sized offering is around that.

I have always known that the work I do is is far bigger than me, and after 20 years of community ministry experience, I feel equipped to create and share a “training”.

But my heart doesn’t feel fully in that model because my aim is not to train anyone to do what I do, but rather to support you in what YOU do.

And to whatever extent what each of us does is singing with each other, I find it cause for celebration, never competition!

So this is an ongoing experiment in me holding a circle that is also actively holding itself, an adaptable and emergent yearlong community, a combination of 2-on-1 sessions with me, co-mentorship sessions with other participants, and seasonal summits with everybody together (shaped by what everyone is most desiring and what is arising in the two-on-one sessions).

I have poured a lot of love and intention into finding the sweet spot that allows this circle to overflow with resources and support in a way that is as financially accessible for participants as possible, while honoring what is sustainable for me as well.

Although this particular circle is yearlong, I pray that the relationships and learnings that blossom here may be lifelong.

And may everything we do be in service of our mutual healing and collective liberation.

THE FLOW + COMPONENTS OF THE CIRCLE:

SEED CYCLE: Jan-Apr / ROOT CYCLE: May-July / (August break) / FRUIT CYCLE: Sept-Dec

*SESSIONS WITH ORION: 12 private sessions with Orion + your buddy (4 sessions per cycle)

*DEEP CO-MENTORSHIP CONNECTION: (at least) 2 hours per month with your buddy for that cycle: Each of the 3 cycles, I will match-make you with a different buddy. Last year, many buddies met more than 2 hours per month, and many buddies continued meeting beyond their assigned cycle.

*WHATSAPP THREAD: a monthly prompt from Orion plus a co-created flow of connection + resource sharing

*5 FULL GROUP GATHERINGS (these are the 2023 dates, offered as an exampe. I will post the 2024 dates by October 2024):

WELCOME GATHERING: Sunday, January 15th: 5-9pm ET

SEED CYCLE SUMMIT: Sunday, April 16th: 3-9pm ET

ROOT CYCLE SUMMIT: Sunday, July 23rd: 3-9pm ET

TUNE-IN GATHERING: Sunday, September 10th: 3-9pm ET

FRUIT CYCLE SUMMIT: the weekend of December 1-3: timing TBD (an in person gathering is possible at a low-cost retreat center in the Hudson Valley, with the group sharing travel and housing costs beyond the monthly fee, otherwise we can do Zoom or hybrid!).
